De La Finca Coffee Importers was built from the perspective of someone who has lived every stage of the coffee supply chain, from farm to export to roasting and sales in the United States. What started as a way to create better market access for family-grown coffee in Honduras has grown into a global sourcing network built on relationships, consistency, and trust.

Today, De La Finca works with producers and partners across multiple origins to offer a well-rounded portfolio of coffees. Our focus is simple: connect great producers with great roasters through a supply chain that is more direct, more transparent, and built to last.

We partner with a diverse network of coffee producers, from smallholder farmers and family-run farms to cooperatives and larger regional groups. While our roots are in Honduras, our sourcing has expanded to include producers across Latin America and other key coffee-growing regions.

Each relationship is built with a long-term mindset. We prioritize partners who are committed to quality, consistency, and continuous improvement, and we work closely with them to ensure their coffees are positioned well in the market. This allows us to offer roasters both reliable core coffees and unique, differentiated lots.

Our approach to sourcing is built on direct relationships rather than layered supply chains. By working closely with producers and trusted exporting partners, we reduce unnecessary intermediaries and create a more efficient path from origin to roaster.

This model allows for greater transparency in pricing, better communication around quality and availability, and stronger alignment between what producers grow and what roasters need. The result is a more reliable supply chain that benefits both sides.

Nelson Raul Amador is a fifth-generation coffee producer from Comayagua, Honduras.

He grew up on his family’s farm, Finca Santa Lucia, where he developed a deep understanding of coffee production from an early age. After moving to the United States, he saw firsthand how disconnected the supply chain had become, with coffee passing through multiple intermediaries before reaching roasters and consumers.

De La Finca Coffee Importers was created to change that.

By building direct relationships between producers and buyers, Nelson has developed a sourcing model rooted in transparency, efficiency, and long-term partnership.

Today, his work spans the full coffee value chain, from origin to importer to roaster, giving De La Finca a unique ability to bridge gaps in the industry and deliver both quality and consistency at scale.

We believe strong businesses are built on strong relationships. Everything we do is centered around trust, transparency, and consistency, both with our producing partners and with the roasters we serve.
